About Us | What's New | Calendar | Newsletter | Forum | Members Only | Join | Links | Contact | FAQ | Home Northern California Rover Club - Club Calendar Cow Mountain - September 20th, Ukiah, CA Join us for a casual day of trail riding and exploring at the Cow Mountain OHV rec area 2 hours north of San Francisco. Trails here run from easy to hard and we'll most likely stick to those trails the group is most interested in driving. Trails are dirt with very little (if any) rock areas. As a caution, in some areas brush can get thick and has been known to cause varying degrees of pinstripping. Directions to Cow Mt., take 101 North to Ukiah (2 hours North of S.F.). Exit Talmage Road and turn right. Go to the end (Buddhist Center) and turn right and go .25 of a mile or so and take the first left after the Buddhist Center. You are now on Mill Creek Road. Take this all the way to Cow Mt. OHVRA (5 miles). Note; don't turn left on the road to the North Cow Mt. area, we are at South Cow Mt. We'll meet about 10am near the park entrance and spend the day driving the area. An exact meeting location will be posted just prior to the trip. We will be using CB Channel 7, HAM 146.500, and FRS Channel 7, privacy code 7 for all trip communication. Please contact the trip organizer if you are interested in attending this event!
